CONTACT FORM – General Inquiries/ Customer’s Measurements
For inquiries not answered in the FAQs section below, or for customers who are sending their measurements, please leave a message using the online contact form below.
Expect to see a reply email within 1-2 business days from ‘Rai Keodara’ whose email address is email@example.com with the subject heading: [Ventriloquist Court®] Contact. Be sure to also check your junk mail folder, in case it shows up there.
International customers, please write your message in English only. Many thanks for your kind understanding.
* DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Currently, Ventriloquist Court® ships only to the following international destinations: USA, Canada, all of Europe, Japan and East Asia, and New Zealand.
* DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO FOR ME TO VISIT AND TRY ON SAMPLES?
I’m deeply sorry, however I do not have a studio opened to the public. I work in my home studio only, which is not open to the public. However, Ventriloquist Court®’s relatively modest pricing for time-intensive garments and in-progress updates with photos aim to make up for the inconvenience to the customer who would normally be able to try on samples and have access to extensive consultations on garment designs at a studio/ fashion house.
* CAN YOU SHIP TO AN ALTERNATE ADDRESS FOR ME?
Please note that all businesses have the right to protect themselves from risky transactions, and to cancel and refund unshipped orders from customers who request shipping to an alternate address (such as to a private courier company or to country which is not their country of residence). Ventriloquist Court® ships only to the address registered to the customer’s paypal account.
* HOW MUCH CONSULTATION MAY I EXPECT?
Genuine questions concerning Ventriloquist Court®’s collection pieces are more than welcome. However, for pre-inquiries (that is, no order has yet been placed by the customer), please expect to receive a maximum of four consultations for all garments (except for the ‘Victorianaland’ collection; for this collection, please expect a maximum of eight consultations as a general rule of thumb).
For those who are seeking extensive consultations, Ventriloquist Court® offers a custom-design service with a starting price of $2,000 AUD.
* MAY I REQUEST DESIGN CHANGES TO GARMENTS FROM VENTRILOQUIST COURT®’S COLLECTIONS?
Apologies, I’m currently not accepting any design changes for garments from all collections (with the exception of the ‘Victorianaland’ collection). Extra time is needed to alter or to draw up completely new patterns, and to make the garment itself. Without the benefit of a pre-made sample design, the garment construction would be too time-consuming for my current schedule.
* IS THE ARTISANAL SILK USED CERTIFIED CRUELTY-FREE?
NO. Ventriloquist Court only uses peace silk purchased from artisanal fabric suppliers, supporting traditional textile weaving which helps to empower rural communities. However, no certification body currently exists to oversee and certify the cruelty-free production of peace silk.
Customers with any concerns are more than welcome prior to purchase to ask for a quote for a change in fabric; for instance, where available, linen could be substituted for silk, plant-dyed cotton or vintage cotton for regular cotton, etc. Please message me to discuss possibilities.
* SHIPPING AND POLICIES
For information regarding shipping, possible customs fees, and Ventriloquist Court®’s policies on exchanges and refunds, see the Order Information page.
I’m always keen to work with photographers and magazine editors who are interested in featuring my designs. However, I will only agree to serious proposals. Before contacting me with a proposal for a collaboration, please take a moment to look through my design collections.
Please also keep in mind that when I read your message or email, I will be asking myself the following questions:
* Does this photographer’s style or magazine’s overall theme fit in with my label?
* Is this photographer genuinely interested in a collaboration for the purpose of mutual promotion? Has she or he ‘liked’ my facebook page, followed me on instagram, or subscribed to my youtube channel to show a genuine interest in my designs? Or, is he or she only interested in acquiring garments for a photo shoot, without any interest in helping me to promote my label?
* How professional is this photographer or magazine editor? Will he or she properly credit my brand name? Will I receive usable photos for my websites and social media platforms as promised? Will I receive my garments back in good condition?
The photographer or fashion magazine must be prepared to cover return postage for me to loan samples for the photo shoot/s. I also require a ‘security deposit’ of $200 AUD from photographers & fashion magazines whom I have not collaborated with previously.
Once I receive my garments back and once My label, VENTRILOQUIST COURT®, is acknowledged in the credits accompanying online or print publications of the photos, I will return the security deposit in full. I will of course fully acknowledge the creative team. Thank you.
Return Address for Exchanges & Phone Contact
As a sole trader and textile artist whose business is handmade, I do not publicly make my full address and phone contact available on this website, in order to protect myself from spam marketing. However, customers who would like to return garments for an exchange are welcome to contact me via the online contact form above or via email for my full address and/or phone contact to speak over the phone about orders.
