CUSTOM DESIGNS

For custom designs (gowns, dresses, and costumes), please contact me to discuss possibilities, fabrics, and materials. Custom designs start from $2, 000 AUD. The pricing includes the time involved for me to sketch designs, for any meetings and correspondence, and the actual costuming itself, as well as covering the price of special fabrics and materials. For customers who live in Sydney, I would be more than happy to meet with you over coffee/tea to discuss possible designs for your upcoming event. I will bring fabric samples with me on the day.

After the meeting/discussion, I will need at least 2-3 weeks to work on initial sketches (ideally I will sketch three possible variations of your custom-designed costume based on our discussion). Once I receive approval from you on the design, I will set up custom listings for you to pay in instalments (the last instalment is payable after I have finished your costume and sent you photographs for approval). Once payment is made in full, the last step is for me to simply ship out your costume to you! All payment made to ventriloquistcourt.com is via paypal (your credit card information is never shared with Ventriloquist Court®).

Please factor in that custom designs are far more time-consuming than ordering a custom-made garment from Ventriloquist Court’s current collections. I recommend that you place your order for a custom-designed costume 7-8 months prior to your event to avoid disappointment.

Please note that I do not copy or reproduce designs by other fashion and costume designers. The intellectual property of all custom designs by me is reserved to my label Ventriloquist Court®. My custom-design service to you is only to create a finished product for you, not for the design itself. Clients may not reproduce or sell my designs and sketches.
